You all should know by now that I am a big advocate of calling (not texting) when asking a girl out, but I don’t necessarily think leaving voicemail is such a good idea. We all have a tendency to sound a little awkward and schizo with a redundant amount of um’s and ahh’s. Maybe we all should take a course from McKinsey’s MECE voicemail training, but alas, we all end up rambling, stuttering, and fucking it all up. My best advice is to call, and if she doesn’t answer, follow-up with a succinct text. But for those of us who have left less-than-stellar voicemails, meet Dominic and Dimitri, who will make you feel awesome about your message leaving skills. Make sure you listen to both messages in its entirety, because this shit just gets better.
